Changing cities should not mean managing five different vendors. Smart Moves N Storage provides door-to-door domestic relocation services for households moving between cities and states across India. We coordinate the move from packing and pickup at your existing home through transportation, unloading and delivery at your new address.
A long-distance household move places very different demands on your belongings than a short local shift. Furniture, appliances, electronics, kitchenware, artwork and fragile household items may spend several days in transit and pass through different loading conditions.
That makes preparation important. We assess the volume before the move, determine suitable packing requirements, prepare an inventory and organise transportation based on the size and destination of the shipment.
We assess the household goods, pickup and delivery locations, access conditions and expected moving date.
We determine packing materials, vehicle requirements and the movement schedule based on the shipment.
Furniture, appliances, electronics and fragile belongings are protected, packed and labelled for transit.
The packed goods are loaded and transported to the destination using the planned moving arrangement
Goods are unloaded at the new address and checked against the prepared inventory where applicable.
We assist with unpacking and furniture placement or reassembly as included in the agreed service.
